Interval running is a discipline that combines maximum effort sprinting and a 30 second rest. Each Interval workout will be defined as # of reps x distance. For instance “8 x 35 yard intervals” means athletes will sprint 35 yards and rest 30 seconds. Athletes will repeat this 8 times. Athletes should focus on:

  • Maximum effort sprinting
  • Run through the full yardage then decelerate
  • Stay upright during recovery
  • Don’t cheat yourself!
